Project GlobeTwotter DeHavilland DHC-6 Twin Otter.

The Twin Otter is one of the the most versatile aircraft around. This is proven by it's presence in the icey conditions in the Arctics, or the hot and humid climate of the African Jungles. Time and time again it has proven it's reliability. It is blessed with the great STOL characteristics inhereted by it's predesessor, the Otter. The advantages of this needs no further explanations. Being built in the late 60's, it is one of the oldest planes still in service today and the trading price is about double of what it was worth new.

// About the Model

The Twin Otter included in this package is built entirely in Gmax and includes animated wheels, doors, wing views, dynamic shine together with reflections, full moving surfaces. The doors open with the Shift+E and Shift+E+2 commands. I have been inspired to do this project because of Barry Blaisdell's great Twin Otter, which has been around for quite some time now. I felt a Gmax version would be a great addition and a tribute also to this great model. The included air files are from the original model, so most people who know Barry's work will feel at home quickly.

On a side note, the Captains window can be opened with the cowl flaps command ( ctrl+shift+c repeatedly or ctrl+shift+v repeatedly ).

// Installation

Simply unzip Bluestream Twin Otter to a temporary folder. Open Bluestream Twin Otter and place Bluestream Dash6_LongNose in your aircraft folder. Place dhc6GLAI in the FSFSCONV folder found in the main aircraft folder. Place prosnd22 in the FSFSCONV folder also. Be certain you have made a new section in Fs9.cfg. The new section must read:

[old modules]
FSSound.dll=1
FSUIPC.dll=1
